Sindhi and Baloch communities standing together in Karachi protest rally, showing unity and solidarity

Sindhis and Baloch have always been brothers. Our relationship is built on shared history, culture, and mutual respect. We celebrate each other’s traditions and stand together in difficult times. Unfortunately, a few people try to create misunderstandings between our communities, but we will never allow them to succeed.Baloch leader Rauf Khan Sasoli recently highlighted this deep-rooted unity. He recalled that when Sindhi people faced challenges in Karachi, Baloch communities stood firmly by their side. In particular, the Baloch residents of Lyari and Malir supported Sindhi nationalism not only through words but through real action on the ground.According to Sasoli, Baloch people who speak Balochi in Lyari and those living in Malir participated in what he described as a practical struggle, standing shoulder to shoulder with the Sindhi community during tense and critical moments. He also clarified that betrayal has no place in Baloch traditions. Narratives suggesting otherwise, he said, are baseless and do not reflect the true values of Baloch society. Sasoli emphasized that he personally witnessed those difficult times, strengthening the authenticity of his account.Recalling an important moment, he shared that on the direction of Nawab Akbar Bugti, he led a major protest rally in Karachi. The rally began at 3 PM and continued until 11 PM, starting from Karachi Press Club, where participants continuously raised slogans for the protection and rights of Sindh.
