A district-level STEM competition was successfully organized at Government MDM High School, Matiari, under the supervision of the District Administration. Students from all three talukas of Matiari district participated with great excitement.Students from various government schools showcased their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics during the event. The program was hosted by Deputy Director Asma Bhatti, while Deputy Commissioner Matiari Muhammad Yousuf Sheikh attended as the chief guest. Assistant Commissioner Matiari Abdul Sattar Sheikh and District Officer Rahmatullah Rind were also present.Officials praised the students’ creativity and innovation, emphasizing the importance of STEM education for the future. Certificates of appreciation were given to successful students, and cash prizes were awarded to those securing first, second, and third positions. Each group consisted of three students.Parents and teachers appreciated the initiative, saying that such activities help students build confidence and practical skills. The event generated great enthusiasm, with students actively presenting their projects and ideas.Deputy Director Asma Bhatti, District Officer Rahmatullah Rind, and Shoaib Rehman Qazi coordinated the program. Teacher Muhammad Bachal Memon conducted the proceedings and guided the students throughout the competition.District officials also announced plans to organize similar STEM competitions in the future to nurture young talent and strengthen the local education system.
