In a heartbreaking aviation disaster, an Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner (Flight AI‑171) crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, en route to London Heathrow.According to early reports, the aircraft lost contact with Air Traffic Control minutes after departure. The wreckage was found in a rural area 45 km west of Ahmedabad.
Over 265 people are feared dead, including crew and passengers. A few severely injured survivors have been shifted to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. Miraculously, one woman seated in 11A has survived and is giving testimony to investigators.
