A protective embankment built to prevent seawater intrusion near Keti Bandar has broken, causing seawater to flood several villages, including Haji Ali Bux Jat, Haji Hashim Jat, and Usman Dablo.
According to local residents, the failure to repair the embankment on time led to this crisis. As a result, hundreds of people have been affected—many homes are submerged, and crops have been severely damaged.
Villagers are urgently appealing to the authorities for immediate relief, evacuation support, and rapid reconstruction of the embankment to prevent further damage.
Motherland Media stands in solidarity with the affected communities and strongly urges the concerned departments to take swift action to protect lives and livelihoods.
