A wave of environmental consciousness swept through the streets of Karachi as the Save the Rivers Alliance—an initiative led by students and community advocates organized a peaceful march from Teen Talwar (Three Swords). The message was simple, yet powerful: Karachi’s rivers need saving, and the time to act is now. We are not just here to protest we are here to remind people that rivers are the lifeline of our cities, our communities, and our future. Karachi has already lost much of its natural beauty and ecological balance. If we stay silent, we will lose even more.
