On the roads of Karachi, at Teen Talwar, the voice of Sindh rose in unison not for politics, not for power, but for our lifeline the Indus River. The Save Indus dharna was not just a protest, it was a heartfelt cry from a people who have always lived by the rhythm of the river.
Sindhu is not just water it is our identity, our history, our survival. It is the same river that flows through the verses of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and the soil of every Sindhi village.
We gathered with banners in hand and love in our hearts not to fight, but to remind the world:
If Indus dies, Sindh dies.
If Sindh is silenced, a whole civilization is at risk.
This peaceful movement awakened something deep within us. It brought women, children, elders, and youth together under one sky, with one voice:
“Save Indus, Save Sindh.”
We are Sindhi. We are awake. And we will protect our river.
